Day 1 : ARRIVAL COCHIN - MUNNAR (130 KM / 3 HRS)

On arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport/railway station. Our Ghumney representative will meet to welcome and escort you and straight transfer to Munnar. The lush scenic hill station of Munnar is one of the most beautiful places in India and not just Kerala. En-route, stop at the water falls and enjoy the natural beauty. The misty roads, the cloudy skies and the amazing views accompany on your ride. On arrival into the hill town, check in to a listed hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast ready for a local sightseeing tour of Munnar. The first stop is the Tea Museum, where you learn about the processing of the favorite brew of India. Later, proceed to the beautiful Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake. In the afternoon visit the Eravikulam National Park. The high attitude sanctuary is known for the Nilgiri Tahr and the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once in 12 years. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 : MUNNAR - THEKKADY (110 KM / 3 HRS)

After breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the hotel. You will leave for Thekkady by road. On arrival at the nature blessed town, check in to hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake. The Periyar National Park is right on the shores of the lake and on a boat tour it is quite possible for you to see wildlife and birds. Day 5 : ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM (170 KM / 4 HRS)

After breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the houseboat. Later proceed to Kovalam by road. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The day is free of schedules, spend at leisure. The serene beaches of Kovalam are perfect for scenic walks, sunbathing and a fun time with waves. Day 6 : KOVALAM SIGHTSEEING

Day 7 : KOVALAM - KANYAKUMARI (85 KM / 2 HRS)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a popular tourist destination in India, it is famous for its unique ocean sunrise, sunset and moonrise. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and head out to visit Kanyakumari Temple where Goddess Parvati is worshipped. From over 3000 years, Kanyakumari Temple has been blessing devotees as it graces the city of Kanyakumari. It is believed that the back of Goddess Sati fell here while Lord Shiva carried her corpse. That is why it is one of the 51 Shakti Peetha worshipping the divinity Shakti. Pay homage and move forth to tour Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Vivekananda Rock Memorial – Built in the year 1970, this memorial stands testimony to all the hard work of Swami Vivekananda to whom it is devoted. It is said that this was the rock where he attained enlightenment. Further, it is also said that Goddess Kanya Kumari performed austerity here. Next you will visit Thiruvalluvar Statue. Followed by a boat ride in the surroundings. After the sightseeing tour, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
